LOS ANGELES (Hollywood Reporter) -
Steve Zahn will star in
the action thriller "A Perfect Getaway," which revolves around
newlyweds on their honeymoon in Hawaii who run into a pair of
hikers who turn out to be vicious killers.
Zahn ("Rescue Dawn") will play the honeymooning groom. The
previously announced Timothy Olyphant plays one of the killers.
David Twohy ("The Chronicles of Riddick") wrote the script
and is directing. MGM will distribute the feature.
Zahn next stars in the romantic comedy "Management"
opposite Jennifer Aniston. He also appears in "Sunshine
Cleaning" and "The Great Buck Howard," both of which premiered
at the Sundance Film Festival in January.
